After teaching Creative Writing, Drama, and English for a couple of decades, I took early retirement to write and to take a course which gave me a Diploma In Spiritual Healing. We became Reiki masters early in the course and then went deeper into energy healing. I’m also a quantum touch practitioner. I like going to a place called the Zen Forest, to deepen my meditation practice, build roads and cabins, work on Zen gardens, eat organic vegetarian dishes, and work with koans. I write for Timeless Spirit and others. I’m also the Writer In Residence at the Pickering Public Library. I had five books published before age thirty, taught for twenty years, and now I’m publishing again. I also like going down to the Omega Holistic Institute, near Woodstock, for workshops and to rub shoulders with like-minded folks. Novel marathons are another love. I started novel marathons in Owen Sound, Muskoka, and Pickering, and i’ve gone in NaNoWriMo, and won, the past two years. I love presenting writing workshops, creativity workshops, teaching Zen meditation, doing past life work, and working with couples, groups, or individuals, to coach them how to use healing energy.
